MANDY SIMPSON

Mandy Simpson, 52, of Richmond, MO died on Sunday, November 27, 2011 at Ray County Memorial Hospital in Richmond, MO. Mandy was born on November 5, 1959 in Santa Ana CA to Marshall V. and Patricia Ann (Handley) Simpson. Survivors include her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Marshall Simpson; two sons and one daughter in-law, J.B. and Deedra Coats of Norborne, MO and Jacob Coats of Norborne; one daughter and son-in-law, Brandy Jo and Matt Carpenter of Kansas City, MO; one brother and sister-in-law, Jeff and Carol Simpson of Chilhowee, MO; two sisters and brothers in-law, Kim and Rodney Hamilton of Richmond and Shannon and Ron Cramer of Macomb, IL; 5 grandchildren, Christian, Gage and Teran Coats, Tristen and Izabella Jo Raine Carpenter and one grandson on the way; and several aunts, uncles , nieces, nephews and friends also survives. Mandy was a L.P.N. and was involved in nursing for many years and was a wonderful care giver. Her pride and joy were her children and grandchildren. She was a great “Nanna”. Mandy was a member of the Richmond United Christian Presbyterian Church. Her infectious smile and laugh will be missed. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the American Heart Association, American Diabetes Association or to the American Cancer Society.

Visitation will be Thursday, December 1, 2011 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond. Funeral services will be on Thursday, December 1, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. the Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond. Burial will be in the Richmond Memory Gardens Cemetery in Richmond.
