Ashton Paige Hendricks Hiatt

   Ashton Paige Hendricks Hiatt, 22, of Kearney Missouri died Monday, April 7, 2014. He was born July 27, 1991 in Kansas City, Missouri.

Survivors include his mother and father, Traci and Carey Hiatt of Kearney, The best little brother ever, Chandler Hiatt of Kearney, MO; Grandparents Junior and Peggy Hackett of Richmond, MO; Bob and Roxey Hendricks of Independence, MO; Truman and Cheryl Hiatt of Smithville, MO; as well as aunts and uncles, cousins and extended family who loved him dearly.

   Ashton was a 2010 graduate of Kearney High School where he was a celebrated athlete as part of the 2009 state championship football team, and a 2 time state qualifier in wrestling, and Art Student of the Year. He loved powerlifting, swimming, motorcycles, sunsets, drawing, music, and dancing. He loved his family, his friends, his teammates, but most of all he made EVERYONE feel special and important, with his beautiful smile, and ability to make you laugh. He will be missed by all who knew him.

   The family has established the Ashton Hiatt Memorial Trust for those who would like to make a donation in his memory. Please contact Kearney Trust Company at 816-628-6666.

 

   Funeral services and visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 16 at the Kearney Amphitheater in Jesse James Park on 33 Highway, Kearney, MO. Visitation begins at 2 p.m. with the service following at 5 p.m. to sunset

Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs. Inurnment will be at a later date in the Kearney Cemetery. Condolences can be expressed on-line at www.thurmanfuneralhome.com .
