ADELINA R. WATSON

Adelina R. Watson, 82, of Richmond, MO died Sunday, October 19, 2014 at the Riverbend Heights Health and Rehabilitation Center in Lexington, MO.
Adelina was born on June 2, 1932 in Lexington, MO to Pete and Sarah (Simonetti) Ghisalberti. She first married Gene Burnett; she later married Cecil Wayne Watson of Lawson, MO on March 11, 1955; he preceded her in death on September 24, 1999.
Survivors include two sons and two daughters-in-law, Rick and Kim Watson of Liberty, MO and Donnie and Jenny Burnett of Richmond; one daughter, Christal Milligan of Richmond; two sisters and two brothers-in-law, Janice Lynn and LeRoy Barnes of Lexington and Delores and Wilbur Meierer of Richmond; one brother and sister-in-law, Carl and Carol Ghisalberti of Lexington; 21 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Patsy and Frank Stanfield of Excelsior Springs, MO; and several nieces and nephews also survive.
In addition to her parents and husbands, Adelina was preceded in death by one son, Don Burnett; and one daughter, Connie Burnett.
Adelina was a Respiratory Therapist at the Lexington Memorial Hospital for 27 years. She also worked at G.M. Fairfax district during war time, when she was younger. She was an active member of the Christian Fellowship Ministry Church in Richmond, a member of the Cotton Creek Women?s Bible Study Group and a member of the Red Hatters Association. Adelina was an advocate for the House of Hope. She had lived in the Richmond area most of her life. Adelina was a mother, grandmother and great-grandmother to everyone that knew her.
The family?s suggests memorial contributions be made to the C.F.M. Church, House of Hope or the Ray County Relay for Life.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 24, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at the C.F.M. church in Richmond. Visitation will be Thursday, October 23, 2014 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond. Burial will be in the Richmond Memory Gardens Cemetery.
