ALBERT LEE "DUKE" FORD

Albert Lee "Duke" Ford, 66, of Richmond, MO died at 2:14 a.m. on Thursday, February 17, 2011 at the North Kansas City Hospice House in North Kansas City, MO.
Duke was born on February 29, 1944 in Nipton, CA to LeRoy and Eva May (Chenoworth) Ford.
Survivors include one son, Glen Ford of San Diego, CA; one daughter, Holly Ford of Las Vegas, NV; one brother and sister-in-law Thomas "Nick" and Angie Ford of Richmond; one grandson, Tylor Callaway; several nieces and nephews including Donald A. Ford of Richmond; six half brothers; and one half sister.
In addition to his parents, Duke was preceded in death by one daughter, Marae Ford.
Duke worked as a Greens Keeper for several golf courses in Las Vegas until he retired. He was a member of the Teamsters Union Local #221. He was a United States Army Veteran. He was a Baptist. He returned to the Richmond area in 2002.

As where Duke's wishes his body has been cremated with private family services to be held at a later date. Thurman Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
