AMY NICOLE CORDRAY
Amy Nicole Cordray, 34, of Liberty, MO passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, February 8, 2015 at the Liberty Hospital in Liberty, MO.
Amy was born on April 30, 1980 in Smithville, MO to Dennis W. and Marcie D. (Hahn) Cordray.
Survivors include her parents, Dennis and Marcie Cordray of Liberty; one sister, Lindsay (Cordray) Catron of Kansas City, MO; paternal grandmother, Marjorie Cordray; maternal grandparents, Margaret Mosley, Farrel and Jane Hahn; one niece, Adelyn Catron, one nephew, Cael Catron; aunts and uncles, Vickie and Jim Green, Wendell and Jan Hahn, Dennis and Dana Hahn; and several cousins.
Amy was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Bernard Cordray; and maternal grandfather, Dean Mosley.
Amy was a paraprofessional at the Ridgeview Elementary School in the Liberty School District since 2000. She was a member of the Liberty United Methodist Church. She lived all of her life in Liberty. Amy miraculously survived a traumatic brain injury in an accident on March 15, 1997. Since the accident, she worked diligently to regain her mobility and memory loss. Amy was an inspiration to everyone who loved and knew her.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Liberty School District Foundation.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 13, 2015 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Pleasant Valley Baptist Church in Liberty.
