ANN (HURR) KALLENBERGER
Ann (HURR) Kallenberger, 67, of Hardin, MO died at 7:15 a.m. on Friday, September 30, 2011 at her daughter's home in Independence, MO, surrounded by her loving family.
Ann was born on September 2, 1944 in Oak Grove, MO to Chester and Nina (Kampe) Bond.
She first married Wesley Roger Hurr of Holden, MO on November 18, 1961. He preceded her in death on July 13, 1980. She then married Milo Kallenberger of Hardin, MO on December 5, 1986; he preceded her in death on August 17, 2005.
Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Roger Allen and Sherrie Ann Hurr of Hardin, MO, one daughter, Starla Moore and her friend, Darrel Ohrenberg of Independence, MO, two brothers and sisters-in-law, Clayton and Karen Sue Bond of Warrensburg, MO, Terry Ray and Terry Jean Bond of Warrensburg, MO, one sister and brother-in-law, Linda Sue and Dale Stoneking of Blue Springs, MO, one step-son, Rodney Kallenberger and his wife Debbie of Lee's Summit, MO, two step-daughters, Raydena and her husband Chip Allison of St. Joseph, MO, Yvette Clifford of Oak Grove, MO, fourteen grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren also survive.
In addition to her parents and husbands, Ann was preceded in death by one son, Bryan Dale Hurr, two brothers, Jerry Mac and George Wayne Bond and one sister, Helen Allen.
Ann worked as a Store Keeper for thirty-two years at Lake City Arsenal, before retiring in 2005. She was a Baptist. She had lived in the Holden and Hardin areas most of her life.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 3, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. at the Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond. Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 2, 2011 from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond. Burial will be in the Holden (MO) Cemetery.
