Anthony H. "Tony" Holt, 83, of Richmond, passed away Monday, June 5, 2023.  As promied, his good friend, Shannon, was by his side.

Tony was born on May 3, 1940, in Holt, the son of Andy and Anna (Dale) Holt.  He married the love of his life, Lois A. Paterson, on March 8, 1959, at the Coral Resort Wedding Chapel in Miami, Oklahoma; she preceded him in death on December 28, 2021.

Tony was a member of the Plumbers and Gasfitters Local Union 008 since October of 1967.  There was not much he could not or would not attempt to fix or create.  He loved to make others laugh and hated to be a burden on anyone.  According to his friends, Tony could be on the ornery side.  He loved playing with his good buddy, Rolland, and keeping up with his other buddy, Maveryk.

Tony leaves behind many good friends, including Donald Lewis (his friend since high school), Peggy Heddings, Elizabeth Dodson, Bill and Paula Purcell, Kelley Teegarden, Shannon Morris, and his best little buddies, Rolland Gorham, and Maveryk Teegarden.

Tony requested no flowers or plants, just hug those you love, make sure they know you love them, and don't let past hurts destroy your family.

Memorial services will be held at 6:00 P.M. on Wednesday, July 5, 2023, at the Richmond Christian Chapel, 801 Wollard Boulevard, Richmond, Missouri.  Inurnment will be in the Crown Hill Cemetery, Excelsior Springs, Missouri.  Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond is in charge of arrangements.  Please remember to share your memories of Tony by visiting www.thurmanfuneralhome.com.
