August Leon Mautino, Jr., 82, of Richmond passed away on Saturday, October 9, 2021, at his home surrounded by his loving family.

August was born on August 30, 1939, in Kearney the son of August Leon and Sadie M. (Corum) Mautino, Sr.  He was united in marriage to Anita Bowman on August 10, 1973, in Miami OK; she survives of the home.

Additional survivors include children: Edward R. Mautino, Cynthia (Steve) Hamilton, William R. (Chris) Mautino, Brian (Bobbi) Derstler, and Jo Ellen (Ronnie) Compton; several grandchildren; great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews and brother Paul (Linda) Mautino.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.  Memorial contributions can be dropped off or mailed to Thurman Funeral Home, 507 East Main St. – P.O. Box 190, Richmond, MO 64085.
