BARBARA ELLEN GREEN

Barbara Ellen Green, 74, of Camden, Mo passed away on Friday, July 10, 2015 at her home, surrounded by her loving family.

Barbara was born on November 26, 1940, in rural Orrick, Mo to Benjamin F. and Veda B. (Butler) Lee. She married James Arthur Green, Jr. of Vibbard, Mo on July 5, 1958. He preceded her in death on March 27, 2015.

Survivors include; 1 daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Jerry Greer of Camden, Mo; 1 brother and sister-in-law, John and Phyllis Lee of Camden, Mo; 2 sisters, Jessie Robinson of Lawson, Mo and Teresa Twyman and her husband, Tom of Hardin, Mo; 2 grandchildren, Jeremy Greer and his wife, Katy of Camden, Mo and Jodi Dugan and her husband, Keith of Orrick, Mo; 6 great-grandchildren also survive; Conner, Ross, Tucker and Madilynn Greer. Claire and baby Cooper, who is due in September, Dugan. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

In addition to her parents and husband, Barbara was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Allen K. and Earl F. Lee; and 1 sister, Bernice Lee.

Barbara was a lifelong self-employee of Ray County Stone Producers, along with her husband and other family members. She loved gardening, fishing, camping and spending time with her family. She lived most of her life in Ray County. She was of the Christian faith.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Crowley Cemetery.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 15, 2015 at the Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 14, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond. Burial will be in the Crowley Cemetery, near Rayville, Mo.
