Barbara Ellen McBride, 76, of Richmond, died Tuesday, January 17, 2023, at her residence.

Barbara was born on January 13, 1947, in Boonville, the daughter of Robert and Lillian (Cox) Drew.  She was united in marriage to Jimmy "Gator" McBride of Huntsville, AL; he preceded her in death in 2004.

Survivors include: daughter-in-law, Maxine Moore of Richmond; step-son, Patrick Christopher McBride of Huntsville, AL; step-daughter, Vicki McBride of Ardmore, AL; six grandchildren: Jessica (Brian) Campbell, Caleb (Shelby) Moore, Patrick Christopher McBride, II, Heather Renee McBride, and Sarah Bridges; nine great-grandchildren: Aliya Campbell, Isabella Campbell, Gage Campbell, Adelyn Moore, Brayden Moore, Emersyn Moore, Emabrlynn, Knoxlynn, and Teagan; and niece, Shelle Chambers-Keylon.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, Bruce Allen Moore, Jr., and sister, Bertie Lynn Kerns.

Barbara was born in Boonville and raised in Kansas City, MO.  She worked as a bookkeeper and apartment manager.
