BARBARA JUNE WHITE

Barbara June White, 76, of Richmond, MO, died at 7:08 a.m., Monday, May 31, 2010, due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident, north of Richmond.
Barbara was born May 16, 1934 in Plattsburg, MO to Mr. and Mrs. Herman George Masters. She married Donald E. White of Rayville, MO on December 25, 1952; he preceded her in death on March 25, 2007.
Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Linda and Mike Cooper of Raytown, MO, and Cheryl and Robert Swope of Polo, MO; six grandchildren, Adam Cooper, Molly Wilson, Joseph Osborne, Mindy Osborne, Jason Swope and Allen Swope; four great-grandchildren, Tessa Cooper, Tieler Cooper, Trista Cooper and Thomas Cooper; and two foster grandchildren, Michael and Olivia Carter.
In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by two brothers, Billy Don Masters and James Masters.
Barbara was office manager at Wal-N-Cree Apartments in Gladstone, MO for several years. She was a member of the Millville United Methodist Church and the Russellville Club. She was an avid bowler. She had lived in Independence, MO before moving to Richmond in 1978.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Arthritis Foundation.

Funeral services will be Friday, June 4, at 10:30 a.m. at the Thurman Funeral Home, Richmond, MO. Visitation will be Thursday, June 3, from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Thurman Funeral Home, Richmond, MO. Burial will be in Cowgill Cemetery, Cowgill, MO. Thurman Funeral Home, Richmond, MO is in charge of the arrangements.
