BERTHA MARGARET GRAHAM
Bertha Margaret Graham, 99, of Henrietta, MO died Wednesday, April 9, 2014 at Shirkey Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Richmond, MO.
Bertha was born on July 30, 1914 in Lebanon, NE to Floyd and Pearl Margaret (Riley) Leach. She married Jewell Graham of Ray County. They were married for 51 years; he preceded her in death in February 1983.
Survivors include three sons and daughter-in-law, Richard Graham of Henrietta, MO, Walter and Carolyn Graham of Fayette, MO and George Graham of Clifton Hills, MO; one daughter, Deloris Swan of Leavenworth, KS; 13 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, Bertha was preceded in death by four brothers, Norman, Earl, Dale and Alvin Leach.
Bertha was a housewife. She had lived most of her live in Ray County. She was of the Christian faith. During WWII she help build B-29 bombers in Kansas like Rosie the Riveter.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Bertha Margaret Graham memorial fund.
Memorial graveside services will be held on Saturday, April 19, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at the Todd's Chapel Cemetery west of Richmond. On line condolences may be left on our website at www.thurmanfuneralhome.com
