BETTIE LOUISE MEADOR

Bettie Louise Meador, 49, of Hardin, Mo died unexpectedly on Tuesday, August 22, 2017 at Ray County Memorial Hospital in Richmond, Mo.

Bettie was born on February 25, 1968 in Richmond, MO to John Henry and Virginia Lee (Talbert) Meador.

Survivors include: two sons, Andrew Putt of Hardin and Thomas Putt of Polo, Mo; two daughters, Carolyn Hall and her husband, Curtis of Excelsior Springs, Mo and Catherine Putt and her partner, Tim Hovde, Kansas City, Mo; two brothers, Robert and Steve Meador, both of Hardin; three sisters, Jo Lynn Stevens and her husband, Richard of Kansas City, Mo, Cheryl Davis and her husband, Tom of Richmond and Karen Meador Dudley of Richmond; one grandson Curtis "C. J." Hall, Jr.,; special aunt, Margaret Anne Rigdon of Overland Park, KS; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and one brother, John Wilson Meador.

Bettie was housewife and homemaker.  She was of the Christian faith and lived most of her life in the Hardin/Richmond area.  She was a sweet person who loved animals especially cats.

Memorial contributions in memory of Bettie can be made to the Bettie Meador Memorial Fund and either dropped off or mailed to Thurman Funeral Home, 507 East Main, P. O. Box 190, Richmond, Mo 64085.

Memorial services will be held on Monday, August 28, 2017 at 2:00 P. M. at Thurman Funeral Home, Richmond.  Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home.  Inurnment will be at a later date by the family in the Hardin Cemetery.
