BEVERLY JEAN MALLOTT

Beverly Jean Mallott, 62, of Richmond, MO died at 2:13 a.m., on Monday, August 22, 2011 at North Kansas City Hospital in North Kansas City, MO.
Beverly was born on December 6, 1948 in Sugar Creek, MO to Roy Junior and Emma (Palmer) Van Oster. She married Lewis I. Mallott of Lexington, MO on June 3, 1972; he survives of the home.
Additional survivors include one daughter, Sherri Mallott of Lexington; two brothers and one sister-in-law, Lee Roy and Carline Van Oster of Richmond and Ricky Van Oster of Farmington, MO; three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Cathy Jane and Robert Dale Wilson of Richmond, Linda Littrell of Meadsville, MO and Virginia and Anthony Franco of Richmond; 3 grandchildren, Shayne Allen Charles, Sabrah Nicole Charles and Dylan Seely; 1 great-grandchild, Payton Renee Charles; step-son, Richard Joe Mallott of Witchita, KS; and one step-daugther, Donna Jo Mallott of Witchita, KS.
In addition to her parents, Beverly was preceded in death by two brothers, Billy Wayne Van Oster and David Pearl Van Oster.
Beverly was a homemaker. She was of the Christian faith. She had lived in the Richmond most of her life. She had worked at Shirkey's Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for many years, than she worked for Gilmour Manufacturing for 8 years before retiring.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Beverly Jean Mallott memorial fund.

Memorial Graveside services will be held on Friday, August 26, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. at the Woodland Cemetery in Richmond.
