BILLY LOUIS HOGAN

Billy Louis Hogan, 82, of Norborne, MO died at 12:54 p.m. on Tuesday, February 14, 2012 at Life Care Center in Carrollton, MO.
Bill was born on December 1, 1929 in Carroll County, MO to Russell S. Hogan and Virgie Keim Hogan who preceded him in death. He married his high school sweetheart, Alberta Schannuth, of Ray County, MO on December 14, 1950 who preceded him in death on March 2nd 1991. He married Sarah Lee Bisbee Carr on May 10, 1997 who survives of the home.
Other survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Bently and Cheryl Hogan of Norborne, MO, Billy Greg and Carla Hogan of Richmond, MO, a daughter and son-in-law Sabrena Ann and George Eiserer of Carrollton, MO, two step-daughters and spouses, Vicki and Jonny McGinnis of Hardin, MO, Valarie and George Acree of Polo, MO, one step- son and spouse Jim and Anita Carr of Norborne, MO, five grandchildren, Kyle Eiserer, Cody Hogan, Cortney Hogan, Kristin Hogan and Kalie Hogan, seven step-grandchildren and spouses, Jeremy and Jayme McGinnis, Julie and Scott McClure, Brandon Carr, Patrick Carr, Caleb, Conner, and Tyler Acree, six step-great grandchildren, one brother and spouse Donald and Dixie Hogan of Lubbock, Texas, several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Billy graduated from Central High School and was a member of the Rockingham Church of the Brethren. He lived on the family farm in Norborne area all his life. He owned and operated the Norborne Town and County Drive-In for several years. He was a life-long farmer and served on several boards and committees.
He loved his family and enjoyed traveling on short trips to the Lake of the Ozarks and neighboring states. During his stay at the Life Care Center in Carrollton, he truly appreciated the care he received by the people who took care of him.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Providence Cemetery, Norborne, MO or to the activities department at Life Care Center, Carrollton, MO.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 17, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at the Thurman Funeral Home in Norborne. Visitation will be Thursday, November 16, 2012 from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Thurman Funeral Home in Norborne. Burial will be held in the Fairhaven Cemetery in Norborne. Thurman Funeral Home in Norborne is in charge of the arrangements.
