BINNIE L. TRAINER
Binnie L. Trainer, 89, of Richmond, MO died at 9:15 a.m. on Tuesday, May 24, 2011 at his home.
Binnie was born on May 31, 1921 of Green Castle, MO to Plura and Rebecca (Allred) Trainer. He married Mamie "Sue" Wrisinger of Richmond on May 29, 1947; she survives of the home.
Additional survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Bonnie and Robert Lindsay of Edwards, MO and Carolyn and Steven Flint of Warsaw, MO; and one son, Steven Trainer of New Knoxville, OH; five grandchildren, Bobby Lindsay, Candida White, Everett Lindsay, Shannan Trainer and Janet Wilson; and 10 great-grandchildren Aaron Stirewalt, Aric Kerr, Ryan White, Lilea Verhelle, Izyck Enderson, Emanuel Verhelle, Dominck Verhelle, Alayna Wilson, Wyatt Landon, and Alyxander Wilson.
In addition to his parents, Binnie was preceded in death by one grandchild, Robin Stirewalt; two brothers, Manual Trainer and Floyd Trainer; and one sister, Ruby Duncan.
Binnie worked in the heavy construction business from 1948 until he retired as a foreman for John Roah Construction Company in 1983. He was a member of the Heavy Equipment Construction Union Local #663 and a lifetime member of the Ray County Veterans Post #4398. He was a Deacon at the Henrietta Baptist Church. He was a United States Army Veteran of WWII.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Henrietta First Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 26, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. at the Henrietta First Baptist Church. Visitation will be Wednesday, May 25, 2011 from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond. Burial will be in the Hickory Grove Cemetery north and east of Richmond where military services will be conducted by the Ray County Veterans. Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond is in charge of the arrangements.
