BIRGIT APOLLONIA KOCKELMANN

Birgit Apollonia Kockelmann, 48, of Richmond, MO, died Sunday, November 1, 2015, at her home.
Birgit was born April 18, 1967 in Bitburg, Germany to Mr. and Mrs. Manfred Kockelmann.
Survivors include two sons, Reginald D. Johnson of Richmond and Dominque M. Johnson of the home; five daughters, LaToya C. Johnson of Richmond, Talisha M. Johnson of the home, Nina A. Bass of Richmond, Kiara R. Bass and Aaliyah N. Bass both of the home; one brother, Jurgen Kockelmann of Luxemburg, Germany; and two grandchildren, Jace E. Johnson and Jax H. Johnson.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one son, Jordan M. Bass; and one sister, Monika Hauck.
Birgit was a cashier at Walmart in Richmond for 11 years. She had lived in Germany before moving to Richmond in 2000. She was a member of the St. John CME Church in Richmond. She loved her family and friends dearly. She left an impact on everyone she met.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Birgit Kockelmann Memorial Fund.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, November 4, 2015 at the St. John CME Church in Richmond, MO. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, November 4, 2015, at the St. John CME Church in Richmond, MO. Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond, MO is in charge of the arrangements.
