BONNIE LOU HARLIN

Bonnie Lou (Doss) Harlin, 78, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 6, 2016 at Belmont of Twin Creeks Care Center in Allen, TX.

Bonnie was born Dec. 17, 1937 in Hardin, MO. and spent most of her life in the Hardin & Liberty, MO area.   She moved to Texas in 2014 to be near her sister.                                                       She married Donald Gene Harlin of Hardin on November 22, 1955. He preceded her in death along with her parents, Jake and Geneva (McComas) Doss, and her sister, Dona Doss.

Bonnie is survived by her sister, Trudy (Doss) Cohen and brother-in-law, Alan Cohen of McKinney, TX; her nephews, Mitchel Thomas of Ramona, CA, Jeremy Cohen of Denver, CO; niece, Jacqueline (Cohen) Bendetti of McKinney, TX; and grandnephews, Jake Thomas of Escondito, CA, and Jake Bendetti and Mason Robbins of McKinney, TX. She also leaves behind many cousins.

Bonnie spent over 30 years with the City of North Kansas City serving as the City Clerk.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Hardin Cemetery Association or to the SPCA.

Funeral service will be on Friday, February 12, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. at the Thurman Funeral Home at 507 East Main in Richmond, MO. There will be no family visitation. Burial will be in the Hardin Cemetery. On line condolences may be left on our website at www.thurmanfuneralhome.com
