Bret Allen Bowman, 56, of Richmond, passed away at his home on Saturday, October 12, 2024.

Bret was born on April 10, 1968, in Fallon, NV, the son of Donald R. "Butch" and Denise L. (Richards) Bowman.  He was united in marriage to Johnna Holman of Hardin on December 7, 2008; she survives of the home.

Additional survivors include: his mother, Denise Bowman of Richmond; daughter, Brooke and son-in-law, Ethan Stark of Kansas City; two grandchildren, Crew and Myles Stark; sister, Ellen (Troy) Vandiver of Richmond; nephew, Kanon (Haley) Franklin of Richmond; two nieces, Mackenna (Dylan) Caldwell of Richmond and Violet Price of Oceanside, CA; and sister-in-law, Angela (Thomas) Price of Oceanside, CA.

Bret was preceded in death by his father.

Bret graduated from Richmond High School in 1986.  He was the owner and operator of Bowman Plumbing for 20 years.  He enjoyed collecting guns and participating in 3-gun competitions. Bret's favorite place to be was at home, often relaxing in the hot tub with Johnna, tinkering around in his shed, or mowing the lawn with a Busch Light in hand.  Bret was an amazing husband, stepfather, son, brother, uncle, and friend.  His most beloved title of all was "Papa", as he was known by his grandchildren, Crew and Myles.
