BRUCE WAYNE SODDERS

Bruce Wayne Sodders, 58, of Richmond, MO died at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 1, 2011 from injury sustained in an automobile accident on Business Highway 10 just outside of Richmond.
Bruce was born on October 20, 1952 in Excelsior Springs, MO to Robert B. and Helen (Walters) Sodders.
Survivors include one daughter, Dorinda Sodders of Las Vegas, NV; two grandchildren; two brothers and sisters-in-laws, Larry and Lori Sodders of Gillette, WY and Troy and Stacey Sodders of Logan, IA; one sister, Wilma Dale of Richmond; and several nieces and nephews also survives.
In addition to his parents, Bruce was preceded in death by one brother, Robert Lee Sodders.
Bruce worked at Wal-Mart for 10 years in the meat department. He was of the Christian faith. He had lived in the Richmond area most of his life.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the American Heart Association.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 5, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. at Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 4, 2011 from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Thurman Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Hickory Grove Cemetery northeast of Richmond. Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond is in charge of the arrangements.
