Carol Ann (Case) Lauck-Scott was born to Elbert and Shirley (Bowie) Case on October 30th, 1953, she left this life to be with Jesus on December 21st, 2025, at the age of 72.

Carol and Bill Lauck married and to this union, three children were born: Chad, Heather, and Stephen. This union later came to an end. When Carol and Donna Sue Scott met, each became the other's love of a lifetime. Carol and Donna were legally married on March 20th, 2013, in Winterset, Iowa. Together, they cherished their lives as a couple for thirty years.

Carol's greatest blessings were as a mother and grandmother. She enjoyed a casual drive in the beauty of late afternoon, collecting frogs, coloring beautiful pictures by number, bear hugs, and cuddling with her feline son, Peanut.

Carol is survived by her wife, Donna of the home,  mother, Shirley Case of Higginsville; daughter, Heather Patterson of Kansas City; son, Stephen (Ashlyn) Lauck of Springfield; four granddaughters: Kailee, Addison, Shaylan, and Avery; three brothers: Rick (Debbie) Case of Corder, Steve (Kim) Case Idaho Falls, Idaho, and Randy (Don) Meitler-Case of Wichita, Kansas; and sister, Patti (Steve) Martin of Bates City.

She was preceded in death by her father, Elbert, infant son, Chad, and sister, Rita.
