Carole Elizabeth Vance, of Richmond, 80, died Monday, November 15, 2021, at Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg.

Carole was born on April 14, 1941, in Excelsior Springs, MO, the daughter of Ninen and Anna (McElwee) Stack.  She was united in marriage to Gary W. Vance on November 23, 1976; he survives of the home.

Additional survivors include: two daughters, Meleia (Robert) Kerr of Warrensburg and Natalie Vance of Richmond; and sister Judy Martin of Excelsior Springs.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Jackie Stack, Junior Stack, Pink Stack, and a brother in infancy, and three sisters, Ozell Stack, Collen Watson, and Susie Shelton.

Carole was raised in the area of her birth.  She was employed at the plastic factory as a machine operator.  She was a member of Rock Falls Baptist Church.

Carole was married to the love of her life, Gary for 44 years.  Wherever Carole was, that's where Gary was.  She was active in her church for many years and had many close friendships from Rock Falls.  Carole was made for motherhood; she was stern, but fair and always made sure her daughters knew love.  Carole leaves behind many family and friends who will miss her dearly.
