CHARLES L. (MAC) MCDONALD
Charles L. (Mac) McDonald, 85, of Carrollton, MO, died Wednesday, December 2, 2009 at 1:50 a.m., at Life Care Center in Carrollton.
Charles was born on July 20, 1924 in Midlothian, TX to William L. and Alma (Brown) McDonald. He married Helen E. Fry of Carrollton on May 2, 1944; she survives the home.
Other survivors include two sons and two daughters-in-law, William L. and Kathy McDonald of Carrollton and Mark A. and Theressa McDonald of Carrollton; two daughters and two sons-in-law, Carole and David Stanton of Albuquerque, NM and Debbie and Fernando Partida of Napa, CA; one sister, Dora Cole of Texas; 10 grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren also survive.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one son, Charles L. McDonald, Jr.
Charles had lived in California before moving to Carrollton in 1989. He was a United States Army Air Corps Veteran of WWII. He was a life member and a past commander of the Pence-Lovell-England V.F.W. Post # 1773 in Carrollton.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
