CHARLES WILLIAM "CHARLIE" O'DELL

Charles William O'Dell, 67, of Richmond, MO died Monday, August 26, 2013 at Shirkey Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Richmond.
Charlie was born on December 2, 1945 in Ray County, MO to Harold Ralph "Junior" and Hazel (Hendrix) O'Dell.
Survivors include his father, Harold Ralph "Junior" O'Dell of Richmond; two daughters and son-in-law, Robyn L. McCarter of Richmond and Tracy and Matt Marmoy of Richmond; one brother, James O'Dell of Richmond; 7 grandchildren, Todd, Ashley, Kenny, Jake, Chelsea, Anthony and Kayden; and two great-grandchildren, Otto and Tucker.
Charlie was preceded in death by his mother, Hazel O'Dell.
Charlie worked at Ford Motor Company in the paint department for 37 years before retiring in 2003. He was a member of the U.A.W. Union Local #249. Charlie was a lifelong Ray County Resident. He was a member of the St. Paul Christian Union Church in Knoxville, MO.
The Family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 31, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond. Visitation will be Saturday, August 31, 2013 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond.
