CHRISTOPHER COOPER
Christopher Cooper, 14, of Hardin, MO, died on January 5, 2012 at his home.
Christopher was born on July 7, 1997 in Kansas City, KS to Donald Michael Cooper and Crystal Lee Porter Redmon.
Survivors include; his father, Donald M. Cooper of Kansas City, KS; his mother and step-father, Crystal L. and Ernie E. Redmon of the home; one sister, Jena R. Redmon of the home; paternal grandmother, Sherry Singleton of Kansas City, KS; his maternal grandparents, Jimmy and Teresa Porter of Kansas City, KS; his maternal great-grandmother, Wanda Morris of Kansas City, KS; three uncles, Shannon Cooper of El Dorado, KS, James Porter and his wife, Jill of Kansas City, KS; and Michael Zieser of Moberly, MO; an aunt Sheila Cooper of Kansas City, KS and cousins including Cody and Chloe Braswell.
Christopher was a 9th grader at Hardin High School. He was a member of the Hardin FFA Chapter. He was a member of the Vibbard Christian Union Church and its' youth group. He was an avid KU fan. He lived in the Kansas City area before moving to Hardin 2 years ago.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Christopher Cooper Memorial Fund.


Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 11, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at the Vibbard Christian Union Church. Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. prior to service time at the Church. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Cemetery in Kansas City, KS. Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond is in charge of the arrangements.
