Cindy Sue Yoakum never met a stranger enter a room as a guest and leave as a friend arrive in need and never leave empty handed. Her open, curious heart welcomed everyone without regard for background or belief. A wild soul with boundless compassion for people and animals, she proved her generosity again and again. She comforted, helped, and would have given the shirt off her back without hesitation.
Raised with five siblings on a farm in Dockery/Richmond, MO, Cindy loved the outdoors, vacations with her family to national parks, walking trails, working on the farm with her parents, caring for her horses. She filled her days with music, singing, and dancing with anyone who would join. Surrounded by love all her life, she made others feel seen, valued, and cherished. We are better for having known her and will forever treasure her spirit and the lessons of kindness she left with us.
