Soon after their marriage the couple came to Norborne, Missouri, where Clara began to fulfill God's high calling of a wife and mother and Dr. List established his practice of veterinary medicine.
Clara was always active in her Savior's Church, teaching the little children and serving the Lord with many talents. She was recently a member of Concordia Lutheran Church where she regularly enjoyed hearing her Savior's Holy Word, proclaiming His praises and receiving His peace and pardon in His Holy Supper.
