CLARISE JEAN SANSTRA

Clarise Jean Sanstra, 89, of Kansas City, MO died Wednesday, June 8, 2016 at her home.

Clarise was born on December 24, 1926 in Hardin, MO to Charles Otis and Ona P. (McGraw) Woodson. She first married John Reuben McLallen of Richmond, MO on February 28, 1946. He preceded her in death on October 23, 1975. She later married Melvin S. Sanstra of Kansas City, MO on June 30, 1978. He survives of the home.

Additional survivors; one son, J.C. McLallen of Kansas City, MO; two daughters and two sons-in-law, Jonnah and Richard Terbovic of Kansas City and Paulette and David Elliott of Kansas City, MO; 7 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; one step-son, Scott Sanstra and his wife, Angela of Kansas City; one step-daughter, Sherri Tomlin and her husband, Kenny of Dalton, GA; 9 step-grandchildren; 2 step-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and first husband, Clarise was preceded in death by two brothers, Charles "C.O." Woodson; W.E. "Dub" Woodson; two sisters, Irene Higgs and Frances Woodson.

Clarise was a pharmacist assistant at Key Rexall Drugs for over 20 years before retiring in 1991. She was of the Christian faith. She had lived in Richmond and Kansas City area's most of her life.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Northland Hospice.
