CLAUDINE LEE MILEY

Claudine Lee Miley, 91, of Richmond, MO died Sunday, December 11, 2016 at the Research Medical Center in Kansas City, MO.
Claudine was born on April 16, 1925 in Ray County, MO to William Claude and Dora Elizabeth (Danner) Lee. She married Harold "Jimmy" Edgar Miley of Richmond on June 14, 1944. He preceded her in death in 2003.
Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Sheila and Mike Thacker of Richmond; one granddaughter, Leslyn Leann West; and two grandsons, Kyler Scott Fernandez and Jayce Christian Ferrell.
In addition to her parents and husband, Claudine was preceded in death by two brothers, Jewell R. Lee and Ruel D. Lee.
Claudine was a homemaker. She previously worked at Lake City Arsenal. Claudine was a member of the Richmond First Baptist Church where she was a former secretary. She loved to travel, although Branson, MO was one of her favorite places. Claudine was a lifelong Ray County residence.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 16, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond. Visitation will be Thursday, December 15, 2016 from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond. Burial will be in the Sunny Slope Cemetery in Richmond.
