CORNELIA ELAINE STRICKLER

Cornelia Elaine Strickler, 77, of Rayville, MO, died Thursday, September 16, 2010, at Shirkey Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Richmond, MO.
Elaine was born February 3, 1933 in Camden, MO to Vernon and Cornelia (Crowley) Smithey. She married Larry Lee Strickler of Camden on April 22, 1953; he survives, of Richmond.
Other survivors include two sons and one daughter-in-law, Larry Steven and Susan Strickler of Richmond and Leslie Gayle Strickler of Bowling Green, MO; one daughter and one son-in-law, Delann Elaine and Bill Lewis of Holden, MO; one brother and sister-in-law, Norman and Margaret Smithey of Camden; and three grandchildren, Caleb Lewis and his wife, Meghan, Justin Strickler and Craig Strickler.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Elaine lived in Ray County all of her life. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Camden.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Alzheimer's Unit Wing 3 at Shirkey Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Funeral services will be Saturday, September 18, at 10:30 a.m., at the United Methodist Church, Camden, MO. Visitation will be Friday, September 17, from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Thurman Funeral Home, Richmond, MO. Burial will be at Richmond Memory Gardens, Richmond, MO. Thurman Funeral Home, Richmond, MO is in charge of the arrangements.
