DALE EUGENE WRIGHT

Dale Eugene Wright, 77, of Lexington, MO died Tuesday, March 1, 2016 at his home.

Dale was born on September 5, 1938 in Norborne, MO to Marion and Lillian (Freeman) Wright.

Survivors include, one son, Eric and Lisa Wright of Winona, MN; two daughters and one brother-in-law, Dana and Jeff Henson of Harrisonville, MO and Teresa Wright of Lexington; one brother and sister-in-law, Richard and Bev Wright of Polo, MO; one sister and brother-in-law, Carol and Keith Kempton of Salina, KS; 10 grandchildren, Marco Wright, Ashley Wright, Brandy Wright, Tyler Wright, Moxie Wright, Mortimer Wright, Sabine Wright, Whitney Jenkins, Alyssa Jenkins and Bobbi Henson; and 12 great-grandchildren also survives.

In addition to his parents, Dale was preceded in death by three brothers, M.C. Wright, Bill Wright and Larry Wright.

Dale was a veteran of the United States Airforce. He worked at Ford Motor Company in Kansas City, MO before retiring. He was also a farmer. Dale grew up in the Norborne and Hardin area before moving to Lexington.  He loved to hunt and fish. He enjoyed to travel, reading, learning and complaining about politics and government corruption.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Hardin Cemetery.

Memorial services will be held on Monday, March 7, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. at the Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond. Visitation will be Monday, March 7, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond. Inurnment will be at a later date.
