DANIEL WELLMAN

Daniel Wellman, 69, of Richmond, MO, died at 9:39 a.m. on Saturday, February 6, 2010 at the Liberty Hospital in Liberty, MO.
Danny was born on May 17, 1940 in Carrollton, MO to Henry and Martha (Smith) Wellman. He married Betty Joanne Hawkins of Norborne, MO on December 19, 1959. She preceded him in death on March 11, 2008.
Survivors include; one daughter and son-in-law, Sheila and Jim Hicks of Kearney, MO, four brothers and four sisters-in-law, Bob and Freida Wellman of Carrollton, MO, Kenny and Sue Wellman of Kearney, MO, his twin brother, David and Linda Wellman of Sedalia, MO, Charles and Norma Wellman of Carrollton, MO, five grandchildren, Jewels, Lauren and Madison Wellman, Devon and Tyler Hicks. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
In addition to his parents and wife, Danny was preceded in death by one son, Ricky Gene Wellman, three brothers, Marvin Wellman, Bill Wellman, Joseph Wellman and a ½ sister, Marion Noah.
Danny had been a meat cutter for the Faulk's Supermarket in Carrollton, MO. He was a member and Elder of the Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church "ELDoNA" in Richmond, MO. He had lived in Richmond most of his life.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church "ELDONA" Building Fund.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 11, 2010 at 1:30 p.m. at the Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 10, 2010 from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond. Burial will be in the Richmond Memory Gardens Cemetery.
