DANIELLE ROBERTS

Danielle Roberts, 56, of Lexington, Mo and formerly of Richmond, Mo, died on Friday, August 11, 2017 at the Lafayette Regional Health Center in Lexington, Mo.

Danielle was born on January 18, 1961 in Kansas City, KS to Louis M. and Dee - Ann (Messenger) Gonzalez. She married Monte L. Roberts of Shawnee, KS in 1988. He preceded her in death on June 21, 2007.

Survivors include; 1 son and daughter-in-law, Thomas L. and Sandy Payne of Independence, Mo, 4 daughters and 1 son-in-law, Deec -Ann and Carlos Rosado of Lincoln. KS, Amanda Roberts of  Richmond, Mo, Martina Roberts of Lexington, Mo, Samantha Roberts of Richmond, Mo, 1 brother, Catajuan Gonzalez and fourteen grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, Danielle was preceded in death by 1 brother, William Gonzalez and a sister, Manuela Romero.

Danielle was a homemaker. She worked at the Bates City BBQ, Gordman's Department Store and A-Team Painting. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She was a strong, independent woman, who took on the role of mom and dad. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. Danielle had lived in Kansas City, Lincoln, KS and Richmond before moving to Lexington, Mo. She was of the Christian faith.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society.

Memorial services will be held on Friday, August 18, 2017 at 8:00 p.m. at the Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond. Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to service time. Inurnment will be at a later date. On line condolences may be left on our website at www.thurmanfuneralhome.com.
