DARLE W. NESPORY

Darle Wayne Nespory, 78, of Liberty, MO passed away peacefully surrounded by his loved ones, on Friday, July 3, 2015 at Excelsior Springs Nursing and Rehabilitation, Excelsior Springs, MO.
Darle was born on September 29, 1936 at Mosby, MO to Rudolph and Irene (Swafford) Nespory. He married Judith Ann Thomas of Richmond, MO on July 17, 1959. His wife of 56 years survives of the home.
Additional survivors include: two sons, Dr. Doug (Sheryl) Nespory, Kearney, MO and Mike (Dianne) Nespory, Platte City, MO; one daughter, Kelly (Mike) Helou, Kansas City, MO; one sister, Reta (Richard) Blakeman, Rayville, MO; eight grandchildren: Dr. Austin (Mandy) Lehr, Kyle Nespory, Shelby (Josh) King, Joel (Betsy) Nespory, Matthew (Jennifer) Nespory, Codi (Sara) Hanna; Anthony Helou and Katelyn Helou; and nine great grandchildren: Ryley Lehr, Regan Lehr, Reese Lehr, Rhett Lehr, Rowan Lehr, Kalli King, Josiah King, Lily Hanna and Dawn Hanna.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Larry Williams and one sister, Doris Atchison.
Darle graduated from Richmond High School in 1956. He attended the University of Missouri on a football scholarship for two years. He was employed by Missouri Public Service for 33 years starting as meter reader in Richmond. He later moved to Liberty in 1965 to work as a lineman and then as a service man. He worked for the Platte City Office until he retired in 1995. He served in the Missouri National Guard; he was a Mason and a Shriner.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to either the American Cancer Society or the Alzheimer's Association.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 9, 2015 at Thurman Funeral Home, Richmond, MO. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until service time on Thursday at the funeral home. A Masonic service will be held at 12:30 p.m. prior to visitation on Thursday, also at the funeral home. Burial will be in Memory Garden Cemetery, Richmond.
