Darryl M. Cookerow, 72, of Warrensburg, died Wednesday, April 21, 2021, at the Missouri Veterans Home-Warrensburg.

Darryl was born on August 29, 1948, in Kansas City, the son of Martin W. and Marilyn J. (Erbes) Cookerow.  He was first united in marriage to Edith "Louise" White of Richmond on June 29, 1992; she preceded him in death on June 26, 2012.  He was then united in marriage to Amy Hunt of Lee's Summit on March 29, 2016; she survives of the home.

Additional survivors include: two sisters, Deborah and Deann; sister-in-law, Michelle Menard; and niece, Nevaeh Menard.

He was preceded in death by his parents and first wife.

Darryl graduated from the Huntington Beach High School in California.  He served his country in the United States Army as a Sergeant.  He will be dearly missed by all his family and friends.
