David Lee French, 65, of Richmond, died Monday, December 16, 2019, at his home, surrounded by his loving family.
David was born on June 6, 1954, in Kansas City, the son of Harold Dwight and Hazel Inez (Weaver) French. He was united in marriage to Debra Louise Cluck of Kansas City on May 5, 1973; she survives of the home.
Additional survivors include: three daughters: Jennifer (Duane) Thornburg of Seabrook, TX, Lucinda (Robert) Morrison of Kansas City, and Jessica French of Kansas City; five grandchildren: Dylan, Travis, Kayley, Ely, and Taylor; and one sister, Sandra (David) Fleming of Excelsior Springs.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Dwight Harold French.
David was reared and educated in the area of his birth. He graduated from Winnetonka High School in Kansas City. He worked as a truck driver his whole life in the area. David enjoyed camping, fishing, and being at the lake. He was very outgoing and loved to joke around.
