DAVID PATRICK MILBURN

David Patrick Milburn, 29, of Kansas City, MO and formerly of Richmond, MO, died Wednesday, October 14, 2015 at his residence.

David was born on December 27, 1985 in Richmond, Missouri, to Ronald Dean and Anita Marie (McCalley) Milburn.

Survivors include: his mother, Anita Milburn of Richmond, one brother, Christopher and his wife Stephanie Milburn of Hardin, MO, two sisters, Stephany Milburn of Kansas City, KS and Melanie Bolten and her husband Anthony of Kansas City, MO, three nephews: Mason Milburn, Aiden Camp and Alex Arnoldy; four nieces: Brecklyn Camp, Christine Arnoldy, Chloe Arnoldy and Mckenna Bolten, extended family and his many friends.

He was preceded in death by his father Ronald Dean Milburn.

David graduated from Richmond High School in 2004, where he left a lasting impression on everyone there, and on everyone he has met since. There haven't been many people like him in this world, his blond hair alone could make him stand out in a crowd of a thousand people. He had a way of making people smile wherever he went, and his laugh was contagious. David was a night owl, and he enjoyed staying up late to work at the Levee where he was employed most of his adult life with his girlfriend Meg. He loved science fiction movies and books. He was currently writing a scifi novel himself. He enjoyed music and spending time with his friends. Dave loved his family and had a very special relationship with his mom. He wanted to make other people happy, and he made that a priority in his life. He will be remembered as a good friend, a loving brother, and the son a mother could only dream of. He was honestly like no other, and he will be so dearly missed by all.

The family suggest memorial contributions be made to the David Patrick Milburn Memorial Fund, in care of Thurman Funeral Home P.O. Box 190 Richmond MO 64085.

Visitation for David will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 20, 2015 at the Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond. Graveside services will follow on Wednesday, October 21, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at Sunny Slope Cemetery in Richmond.
