DAVID R. RITTER
David Ryan Ritter, 24, of Orrick, MO, died Thursday, October 27, 2011 at the Liberty Hospital, Liberty, MO, from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.
David was born on February 6, 1987, at North Kansas City Hospital to Brian David and Rhonda Diann (House) Ritter. He was raised and educated in the area of his birth and graduated from Orrick High School in 2005. He then attended college at Southeast Community College in Milford, NE, where he received his Associates Arts Degree in Deere Construction & Forestry Equipment Technology. David was currently employed as a diesel technician for Murphy Tractor and Equipment Company in Kansas City, where he was known as the "Kid". David was a beautiful, carefree, kind-hearted person who enjoyed duck and goose hunting and fishing. He was proud to be an organ donor. He was a member of the Church of Christ in Excelsior Springs.
Those left to cherish his memory include his parents Brian & Rhonda Ritter of Orrick, MO; sister Danielle (Dani) Ritter of the home; Fiancé Jade Flewelling of Excelsior Springs, paternal grandparents, Johnny and Joan (Jody) Ritter of Orrick; maternal grandparents Kenneth and Agness House of Excelsior Springs; uncles and aunts, Bubba and Pam House, Excelsior Springs; Billy and Gina Sands of Camden, MO; Little John and Nancy Ritter, Richmond; Steve and Johnna Ritter, Excelsior Springs; Danny and Joann Helms of Owensville, MO; Chuck and Sandy Fann of Hutchinson, KS, Allen and Sandy Fann, Texas and many cousins, his best-friend Matt Taylor of Excelsior Springs, other close family, his church family, co-workers and friends.
The family suggest memorial contributions be made to either Midwest Transplant of Kansas City or The Missouri Conservation Department.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 1, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. at the Church of Christ, 505 Elms Blvd., in Excelsior Springs. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5:30 p.m. until service time at the church. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, November 2, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Brooking Cemetery in Raytown, MO.
