Dean was reared and educated in the area of his birth and graduated from Stet High School in 1964.  Dean worked for six years for Ford Motor Company.  He was best known for his skills as a painter.   He owned and operated Dean's Painting for 30 years.  He was a hard-working man and made sure his family always had what they needed.  One of his favorite sayings was, "Do the job large or small, do it right or not at all!"  Dean enjoyed raising cattle and bird hunting - quail, pheasant and especially turkey.   He liked watching the Chiefs, westerns, Hallmark channel and the Lifetime station with his wife.
