DEBORAH YVONNE McGUIRE

Deborah Yvonne McGuire, 49, of Hardin, MO died Thursday, June 16, 2016 at her home.

Deborah was born on September 15, 1966 in Poplarville, MS to Luther and Bonnie (Wayne) Wheat. She married Martin Allen McGuire of Hardin on June 8, 1995. He survives of the home.

Additional survivors include; her mother, Bonnie Salyers of Norborne, MO; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Jerry L. Spicer of Henrietta, MO and Samuel H. and Phyllis McGurie, III of Metropolis, IL; two daughters, and one son-in-law, Tabatha C. Spicer of Norborne, MO and Jennifer and Jay Pero of Metropolis, IL; two sisters, Wanda Faye and Lisa Flynn both of Sapulpa, OK; and 9 grandchildren.

Deborah was preceded in death in by her father, Luther Wheat; and one brother, Kevin Wheat.

Deborah was a homemaker. She lived in the Hardin area with her husband for the past 26 years. She was a member of the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church northeast of Hardin. Deborah loved and worshiped her grandchildren. She enjoyed growing flowers and gardening. She loved cooking and having company at the house.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Missouri Council of the Blind.

Memorial services will be held on Friday, June 24,2016 at 2:00 p.m. at the Hardin Baptist Church. Inurnment will be at later date. Online condolences maybe left on our website at www.thurmanfuneralhome.com
