DELORES I. JOHNSON

Delores I. Johnson, 76, of Richmond/Lexington, MO area died at 5:55 a.m., on Friday, April 08, 2011 at her home in Richmond.
Delores was born on July 14, 1934 to Henry and Bessie in Bloodland, MO. Delores married Billy Glen Johnson of Camden, MO on October 20, 1986. He preceded her in death on May 6, 2002.
Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, William Aaron and Eileen McCaulley of Orrick, MO and Marshall Lee and Janice McCaulley of Del City, OK; four daughters and sons-in-law, Deanna Jo and Scott Kinneberg of East Bethel, MN, Carolyn Yvonne and Kevin Summers of Holt Summit, MO, Debbie Rae Briegel and Terry of Olathe, KS and Julie Jean and Tracy Palmer of Orrick; 22 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, Delores was preceded in death by 2 grandchildren, William Lee Kidwell and Susie Jane McCaulley; 3 brothers, Lester Price, Harley James and Preston Thomas; and one sister, Nona Martha.
Delores had worked in the medical field for over 40 years primarily at the Lafayette Regional Health Center and Ray County Memorial Hospital before retiring in 1991. She was a member of the Fleming Baptist Church. She lived most of her life in the Ozarks, before moving to the Lexington and Richmond areas in 1972.
The family suggests memorials be made to the Delores Johnson memorial fund.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 11, 2011 at 1:30 p.m. at the Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond. Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 10, 2011 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond. Burial will be in the Cravens Cemetery in Camden, MO. Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond is in charge of the arrangements.
