JOYCE DIANE MANNING
Diane Manning, 61, of Richmond, MO, died at 4:20 p.m. on Tuesday, May 3, 2011 at the North Kansas City Hospital in North Kansas City, MO.
Diane was born on March 2, 1950 in Excelsior Springs, MO to Russell M. and Wilma A. (Penny) Pence. She married Gary F. Manning of Richmond, MO on April 10, 1971.
In addition to her parents and husband, additional survivors include: one son and daughter-in-law, Aaron and Angela Manning of Liberty, MO, one daughter and son-in-law, Amy and Chad Burnine of Richmond, MO, one brother and sister-in-law, Dale E. and Jill Pence of Richmond, MO, one sister and brother-in-law, Penny and Mark Kugler of Richmond, MO. Four grandchildren also survive: Austin Manning, Alyssa Manning, Isabella Burnine and Brody Burnine, one sister-in-law, Kay Lawson, along with several nieces and nephews.
Diane was a bookkeeper for Ray-Carroll Co-Op for the last thirteen years. She also was the chief financial officer for Mercantile Bank in Richmond for twenty-five years. She was a 1968 graduate of Richmond High School. She was a member and Sunday School Superintendant at the Henrietta First Baptist Church. She had lived in the Richmond area all of her life. For the short sixty-one years of her life, Diane was a blessing to her family and friends. We are comforted by the fact that she walked with God on this earth and because of her personal relationship with Jesus Christ, she is with her Lord in Heaven, today.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Henrietta First Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 6, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at the Henrietta First Baptist Church. Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 5, 2011 from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond, MO. Burial will be in the New Hope Cemetery, north of Hardin, MO.
