Donna Fay Lautenschlager, 72, of Richmond, MO died Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at her home.
Donna was born on June 28, 1945 in Orrick, MO to James Allen and Helen (King) Rash. She married John Marvin Lautenschlager of Carrollton, MO on November 1, 1964; they later separated.
Survivors include; three sons and daughters-in-law, John Allen Lautenschlager of Kansas City, MO, Stephen and Rachel Lautenschlager of Lexington, MO and Todd Everett and Julie Lautenschlager of Indianapolis, IN; two daughters and sons-in-law, Cindy and Randall Sutton of Liberty, MO and Sandy and Kevin Harman of Van Alstyne , TX; one brother and sister-in-law, Donald Ray and Sharon Rash of Bosworth, MO; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Agnes and Bobby Deam of Richmond and Viola and Wayne Womack of Blue Springs, MO; 10 grandchildren, Andrew Harman and his wife, Sandra, Samantha Roach, Chelsea Duncan and her husband, Brian, Brandon Harman and his wife, Anne, Stephanie Lautenschlager, Cody Sutton, Sydney Lautenschlager, Bryce Lautenschlager, Bree Lautenschlager and Adisyn Lautenschlager; and 4 great-grandchildren, Bailey Duncan, Mason Roach, Hunter Duncan and Beau Duncan; and her dog, Dollie.
In addition to her parents, Donna was preceded in death by three brothers, James Rash, Robert Rash and Charles Lee Rash who died in infancy.
Donna was a 1963 graduate from Richmond High School. She worked most of her life as a Certified Nurse's Assistant, for the Carroll County Memorial Hospital for many years. She than took a position as a laundry supervisor at the Resthaven Nursing Home in Carrollton. Than later she returned to Carroll County Memorial Hospital where she was made laundry supervisor there. Donna lived most of her life in Carrollton and Richmond. She was a member of the Messenger Chapel in Richmond. For Donna her family was her life and she would do anything for you.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Messenger Church in Richmond.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 21, 2018 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Messenger Church in Richmond. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 21, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at the church. Burial will be in the Woodland Cemetery in Richmond. Online condolences may be left on our website at
