Donnie "Don" Sherwood, 72, of Liberty, passed away on Saturday, May 27, 2023, at Pleasant Valley Manor in Liberty.

Don was born on March 2, 1951, in Kirksville, the son of Ernest and Juanita (Pierson) Sherwood.

Survivors include daughter, Michelle (Ryan) Parker of Edwardsville, KS and son, Darren (Becky) Sherwood, Richmond, MO.  Grandchildren, Gabriel Parker (Kassandra Torres), Makayla Parker, Cheyenne (Payton) Leonard, Abigail (Joseph) Schaeffer and Hadassah Sherwood. Sister, Judy Corman of Richmond, MO.

Don was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Juanita (Pierson) Sherwood.

Don received his GED at Smith-Cotton in Sedalia, MO. Don was a minister for years at various churches in Missouri. Don started a carpentry business, Mid America Custom Design, Inc in Independence, MO until January 2002.
