DORA MAE ODELL

Dora Mae Odell, 92, of Richmond, MO died Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at the Shirkey Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Richmond.

Dora Mae was born on June 28, 1922 in Richmond to Joseph and Floris Mae (Mercer) Blair. She married Robert V. Odell of Hardin, MO on March 4, 1945. He preceded her in death on August 27, 2007.

Survivors include two nieces, Janet and Dick Tamadge of Portland, OR and Denise Blair of Columbus, OH; one great-niece; and several great-nephews also survive.

In addition to her parents and husband, Dora Mae was preceded in death by one brother, Leslie H. Blair.

Dora Mae was a 1939 graduate of Richmond High School. She was a homemaker. She attended Warrensburg State College. Dora Mae was a 50+ year member of the O.E.S. She was a member of the United Christian Presbyterian Church in Richmond.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Richmond United Christian Presbyterian Church.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 16, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at the Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond. Visitation will be Monday, March 16, 2015 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond. Burial will be in the Richmond Memory Gardens Cemetery.
