Dorena Faye ?Dot? Crosby, 72, of Hardin, MO died Friday, June 5, 2015 at North Kansas City Hospital in North Kansas City, MO.
Dot was born on September 30, 1942 in Scott City, KS to Norman and Dorothy (Blunk) Stegall. She married Robert Lester ?Bob? Crosby of Anderson, MO on November 27, 1959; he preceded her in death on June 6, 2012.
Survivors include two sons, Norman Ray Crosby and Lester Paul Crosby both of Hardin; one daughter and son-in-law, Marietta Lynn and Darren Kent Baker of Richmond, MO; 7 grandchildren, Brandon Leach, Jeremy Leach, Tiffany Crosby, Dillian Crosby, Lesa Dunwoodie, Jessica Baker and Kaitlyn Baker; 8 great-grandchildren and one brother Virgil Stegall of Scott City, KS.
Dot and Bob owned and operated Hardin Home Improvement for many years together. Dot also worked a Shirkey Nursing and Rehabilitation in Richmond for several years. They lived in Anderson, before moving to Hardin in 1960. Dot loved playing bingo and going to the boat. She was of the Christian faith.
Dot was preceded in death by her parents, husband and one brother David Stegall.

Memorial graveside services for both Bob & Dot will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, June 12, 2015 at Lavelock Cemetery, north of Hardin on Hwy A. Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond is in charge of the arrangements. On line condolences may be made to the family at www.thurmanfuneralhome.com.
