Doris June Calvert, 83, of Richmond, MO died Saturday, March 3, 2018 at Shirkey Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Richmond.

Doris was born on August 11, 1934 in Ray County, MO to Joseph M. and Iva Earl (Wrisinger) Thompson. She first married George Dueker of Camden in 1952. They later divorced. She later married Melvin Calvert of Richmond. He preceded her in death in 1989.

Survivors include; two sons, Jeff Dueker of Richmond and Ricky Dueker of Richmond; three sisters, Sally Minnick of Richmond, Betsy Hodson of Richmond and Emma MacDonald of Richmond; and one grandson, Jeff Dueker.

In addition to her parents and husband, Doris was preceded in death by four brothers, George Jr., Thompson, Clyde Thompson, Russell Thompson and Dean Thompson.

Doris was a bookkeeper for C.D. Holtzen in Richmond. She was a cashier for Joyce's restaurant and the Richmond school district. She was a diehard Royals fan. She had many friends. Doris was a member of the United Christian Presbyterian Church in Richmond. She lived most of her life in Richmond.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Doris June Calvert memorial fund.

Memorial services will be held on Friday, March 9, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. at Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond.
