DOROTHY G. BUSSELL

Dorothy Grace Bussell, 81, formerly of Carrollton, MO, died Saturday, October 25, 2014 in Blue Springs, MO.
Dorothy was born on September 5, 1933 in Mandeville, MO the daughter of Emmett L. and Violet (Phipps) Agee. Dorothy was united in marriage to Edward Leo Bussell, Sr. from Philadelphia, PA on May 28, 1949 in Independence, KS; he preceded her in death on February 20, 2003.
Survivors include: three sons Emmett L. Bussell of Kansas City, KS, Joseph L. Bussell of Fayette, MO and Edward L. Bussell, Jr. and his wife Lynn of Preston, MO; one daughter and her companion Christine (Chris) Hughes and Richard Braxdale of Blue Springs; 7 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren and 11 great-great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by a grandson Ronnie Pennington, Jr.
Dorothy was a housewife and homemaker; she also worked outside the home, when her children were younger at Katz Drug Store in Kansas City, MO. Dorothy enjoyed doing crafts and was a member of the Provost Club in Kansas City at one time. She lived most of her life in Carrollton where her husband worked as a lineman for the local power company.
The family suggest memorial contributions be made to the donor?s choice.

Visitation for Dorothy will be held on Wednesday, October 29, 2014 from 1:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. at the Thurman Funeral Home in Norborne, MO. Graveside services will follow visitation at 2:30 P.M. at Carroll Memory Gardens Cemetery in Carrollton. Thurman Funeral Home in Norborne is in charge of the arrangements.
