DOROTHY JANE O'DELL

Dorothy Jane O'Dell, 87, of Orrick, MO died Wednesday, November 25, 2015 at Shirkey's Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Richmond.

Dorothy was born on March 2, 1928 in Ray County, MO to Harry and Lydia Anna (Branson) Sheets. She married Billy Lee O'Dell of Richmond on January 26, 1946. He preceded her in death on November 4, 1997.

Survivors include, two sons and one daughter-in-law, Jack and Kathy O'Dell of Orrick and Dale O'Dell of Orrick; 5 grandchildren and their spouses, Megan and Kraig Miller, Mandy Hachman, Matt O'Dell, Amie and Rodney Brock, and Bryan and Aerin O'Dell; and 13 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, Dorothy was preceded in death by one brother, Roy Sheets; and one sister, Mildred Rodgers.

Dorothy was a homemaker. She was a member of the Orrick Baptist Church. She lived in the Orrick area most of her life. Dorothy was a member of the Red Hatter's Association in Orrick.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the South Point Cemetery Association.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 1, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. at the Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond. Visitation will be Monday, November 30, 2015 from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond. Burial will be in the South Point Cemetery in Orrick.
