DORTHY JEAN NELSON

Dorthy Jean Nelson, 58, of Rayville, MO died Friday, June 1, 2012 at her home.
Dorthy was born on April 18, 1954 in Memphis, TN, to Gerald A. and Freda (White) Marshall. She married James W. Nelson of Rayville, MO, on June 6, 1981; he survives of the home.
Additional survivors include two sons Heath Weatherman of Richmond and Stacey Blackshear of Rayville. One daughter, Jessica Blackshear of Montgomery City, MO; two brothers Gerald Marshall, Jr. and Paul Marshall; two sisters Janie Cummings and husband Frank and Doris Clark and husband Tom; four grandchildren Gabby Shears, Jack Weatherman, Logan Weatherman and Heath Weatherman.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one daughter Christy Blackshear.
Dorothy was a hairdresser and lived most of her life in Rayville. She was of the Christian faith.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the American Diabetes Association.
